01General information only
The content on rusrecruiting.com, including articles, hiring guides, salary data, calculators, checklists and career advice, is provided for general information. It is not legal, tax, accounting, financial, immigration, human resources or employment-law advice, and it does not create a professional or attorney-client relationship. Laws and markets change and differ by state and city. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything you read here.
02Website provided “as is”
The Site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Site at your own risk.
03Salary, market and third-party data
Pay figures, outlook projections and market commentary are drawn from the sources we cite, such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and from our recruiters' experience. They are national or general estimates. Actual pay depends on the employer, location, experience, skills and other factors, and nothing on the Site is a promise of any particular salary, rate or outcome. We are not responsible for errors in third-party data.
04No guarantee of placement or results
Working with RUS Recruiting does not guarantee an interview, job offer, placement, hire or start date. Shortlist and search timelines we mention are goals based on typical searches, not guarantees. Hiring decisions belong to employers, and accepting an offer is always the candidate's choice.
05Candidate information and undisclosed conditions
RUS relies on information supplied by candidates, references, employers and screening providers, and does not independently verify everything it is given. Screening is limited to the checks a client requests and the law allows. RUS does not guarantee the future performance or conduct of any candidate.
Clients control their own worksites. RUS is not responsible for conditions at a client's premises or in a client's systems that were concealed from us, not disclosed in advance or not reasonably discoverable, including safety hazards, environmental conditions, security weaknesses or changes in job duties. Clients must tell us about known hazards and site requirements before an assignment begins.
06Third-party materials, tools and manufacturer warranties
The Site may include or link to third-party materials, such as job information supplied by employers, government data, maps, security checks and software used for interviews or onboarding. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content, products or services. Any warranty for third-party software, equipment or products, including equipment a client provides to a contract professional, comes only from its manufacturer or provider. RUS gives no warranty for, and does not pass through, any third-party or manufacturer warranty.
07Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RUS Recruiting and its owners, employees and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including lost profits, data, income or opportunities. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited as set out in our Terms of Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
08Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RUS Recruiting and its owners, employees and agents from any claims, losses, damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Site, your reliance on its content, information you submit or your violation of our Terms of Service.
09Job listings
Job listings describe roles in good faith using information provided by employers. Roles may be filled, changed or withdrawn without notice, details may differ from the final offer, and some listings do not name the employer for confidentiality. Sample listings are labeled as samples.
10Recruitment fraud warning
Scammers sometimes pose as recruiters from real staffing firms. RUS Recruiting will never:
- Ask you to pay a fee to apply, interview or be placed in a job
- Ask you to buy equipment, gift cards or software, or to cash a check and send money back
- Conduct an interview only through text message or a chat app
- Ask for bank details or your Social Security number before a verified offer and our standard, secure onboarding process
Our recruiters email from an address ending in @rusrecruiting.com. If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, do not reply to it; contact us directly through our contact page to check, and report fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
11Equal opportunity
RUS Recruiting is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all qualified candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law. We provide reasonable accommodations during recruiting on request.
12Governing law
This Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Service and is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, with disputes resolved as set out there.
