About the role
A growing distribution company is hiring a senior accountant to own key parts of the month-end close and help improve reporting as the business scales.
What you will do
- Own month-end close tasks, journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L analysis for the controller
- Support the annual audit and respond to auditor requests
- Improve close checklists and documentation
- Train and review the work of a staff accountant
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 4+ years of general ledger and close experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge; CPA or progress toward it a plus
- Advanced Excel; NetSuite or similar ERP experience
- Clear written and verbal communication
